This 100% Soy Wax Candle Was Inspired By The Contrapposto Stance And The Movement That Artist Gian Lorenzo Bernini Captured In His Baroque Marble Sculpture, Apollo E Daphne.
In Greek Mythology, Daphne Was The Beautiful Daughter Of River God Peneus. Daphne Was Struck By An Arrow Of Lead, Making Her The Unwilling Object Of Infatuation Of Apollo, Who Chased Her Against Her Wishes. When Apollo Stated He Would Love Her Forever, Daphne Pleaded To Peneus For Help. The River God Transformed Daphne Into A Laurel Tree, Breaking Apollo's Dream Of Being With Her Forever.
This Candle Was Hand Poured In A Small Batch And May Have Minor Imperfections. It Was Primarily Made For Decor Purposes. If Burnt, Place A Dish Under Your Candle To Catch Any Melted Wax.

Due To The Irregular Shape Of The Candle, Not All Wax Is Guaranteed To Fully Burn
